My fiancee and I absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay at this hotel. The property was very well maintained, tastefully designed, and situated in the perfect location to enjoy Quebec City. It's tucked away in Vieux Quebec away from all the tourists and very close to all the great restaurants. It's also just a 10 minute walk and to the upper town. We stayed in a suite (room 629) with a king size bed and a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. The bed was absolutely confortable and the rain shower was amazing. My only regret about this room is that there isn't a soaking tub like some of the other rooms that I had read about. However, the trade-off for the beautiful view was well worth it. The suite has a separate living room with a TV and a surrond sound DVD system. There was also a flat LCD TV in the room as well. I got a chance to utilize the excercise room and thought it was well equiped with a treadmill, two exercise bikes, and a free weight bench. The free coffee at the 24 hour cafe was also a bonus to all hotel guests where you can get freshly made coffee anytime of the day. The complimentary breakfast was not the best continental breakfast that I have seen, but it was sufficient. There were some great crossaints, granola, cereal, and fresh fruits. The best part of the hotel is the attentive staff and friendly service. From the front desk, to the coffee bar, to the breakfast crew, everyone was very polite and willing to help. I arrived at the hotel before it was time to check in, so I left my bags with them and went for a walk. I then returned to the hotel 3 hours later to find my bags waiting in my room. The service at 71 was impeccable. I would definitely return to this hotel during my next visit.
