Great greetings by both of the two people working there. They gave us advices because it was our first time there.

Hands down, the best restaurant in Quebec city. Fresh food, excellent service and the best baklava I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem, you will be glad you did.

We were looking to have an early dinner somewhere along the Grande Allee. We had seen La Galette Libanaise reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to try this quaint restaurant. We were really glad that we did. The woman who waited on us was very friendly and took us step-by-step thru the preparation of our meat with cheese pitas - which were absolutely delicious!

Yummy, fresh and wonderful. It was exactly as described in previous reviews. Worth the walk in the rain today. Owner was friendly and passionate about his food.

It's hard to call this small take-out restaurant a surprise after being rated #1 in Quebec on Trip Adviser, but it was a totally delightful experience. We stopped for an early lunch after a two mile walk on a chilly, windy morning. Seating is outside on plastic chairs in a small brick courtyard. The owner greeted us like long lost family members, walked us through the menu and then made fresh pita and baked the sandwiches. Choices are limited to chicken, lamb, beef, and salmon with tomatoes, marinated onion, lettuce and peppers. We ate outside and battled with the hungry sparrows for our lunch, smugly smiling at passersby because we were eating here and they were not. The owner
compted us with baklava, which we will eat as soon as we take a nap. For those inevitable reviewers who will say they can't understand how this place can be rated so highly with all the great restaurants in Quebec, maybe you had to be there.
