Very popular place known for their québécois cuisine but when you walk by the kitchen, you see that all entrees are frozen and then boiled and reheated on the spot. The local cuisine isn't exactly flavorful but I found that compared to other local restaurants the food here wasn't anything to write home about. Specially for the price. The atmosphere is very young and fun and consequently very loud. Don't expect to be able to hear each other.

Dear Mrs/Mr,
What you call "frozen and then boiled" food is in fact under pressure cooking that we use to keep quality and flavor of our protéine. This is important to not write a review like this if you don't know what you are talking about.
All our products are fresh and homemade.
However, we are sorry that you have not appreciated your experience with us.

Best regards,

Visited for dinner on Saturday evening, managed to book a table that afternoon. Very good food, although I felt the ox cheek too rich, but Superb seafood platter, reasonably priced wine with some interesting Canadian wines. Only gripe it has become very popular and they have followed the old restaurant trick of squeezing extra tables in so does feel very crowded, however very attentive service makes up for that to some degree.

Ate here with my wife, place was full and turning people away. Nice selection of food with some interesting twists. Good value but you can get caught out if the flavours don't suit you. All the food was well presented and well cooked but my wife who loves fish could not finish her salmon as the flavour combination was too much. Maple black currant creme brûlée not to be missed. Big complaint was speed of service. Too fast!!! 3 courses and we were in and out in hour. No sooner did you put your cutlery down the plate was gone and the next plate put in front of you. My suggestion ( unless you want to eat this quick) is mention you want time between courses. Would recommend a try.

Loved the ambience! We sat at the bar since we had no reservations and the service was excellent. We shared the seafood platter for 2 and a side of asparagus. Nice wine selection, beer selection not the greatest. We had the amazing black currant and maple creme brûlée for dessert. The seafood platter was really unique, great flavors and presentation. Very reasonably priced for the food that you get considering the central location. We would definitely return.

Although they'd stopped serving lunch when we arrived at 1500 they were happy to serve our party of 6 their wonderful charcuterie and seafood sharing platters along with some soup and great wines and excellent bread. We had a great couple of hours just relaxing in a virtually empty restaurant with attentive and friendly service from the manager and several waithers. Highly recommended.
