Owner description: Bike or walk the Samuel-De Champlain Promenade, a large park on the bank of the St. Lawrence River. The park stretches nearly 1.5 Miles (2.5 Kilometers ) from the Cageux Wharf to the Sillery coastline. This landscaped park is a gift from the provincial government to Quebec City for its 400th anniversary.

Very nice area near the iconic Frontenac. Street performers often set up near statue and it is a challenging walk along the Govenour's Promenade (300+) steps takes you to the Plains of Abraham and along Citadel. Had the promenade to myself for a 7:30am walk - people sleep in here. Starbucks at Frontenac a bonus.

A great view. There are always entertainers in the area to amaze and listen too. Take a self guided tour in the old mansion below the board walk. It's only a few dollars, nice and cool. It shows the foundation and rooms from a few hundred years or work.

Nice by sunny weather. The view on The Saint Lurent River is not something unforgetable. The old Town of Quebec is more interesting.

Yet another fantastic place to catch some fresh air, view the magnificent St. Lawrence, stare up at the awe-inspiring Chateau Frontenac, look at couples in love, and get some great ice cream. Why bother flying all the way to France when you can get the same a few hundred miles north of the US border? OK, they have the Alps and the Louvre and a few other things :).
