“Fantastic Place to Stay to See the Whole City”

Pros: Great location in lower QC, fully equipped kitchen, large living area, great shared balcony, fabulous views, free parking, coffee shop downstairs, bike shop one block away (so you can rent a bike and get to the parks and ride the long path around the city that is just across from the condo), Ed the manager (very helpful!), art shops and restaurants all around, one block from Civilization museum.

Cons: Steep walk to upper town, so if you have limitations, it might be harder to get around. However, we got stuck out at dinner in a strong storm and took a cab back to the condo from the upper town for only $4, so that is an option. The sun rises really early, so if light wakes you up, bring a sleep mask. There are lots of windows in the rooms (which is great in the day, but also lets in a lot of light very early in the morning).

We would definitely return to this location!

Liked best: The fantastic views and roominess of condo!
Liked least: The hike to upper town (although with all the great food, the walking is good)!

“Perfect place in the heart of Old Quebec City”

Well it doesn't get better than this.! We stayed for 4 nights in room 402, the Chinic Suite and what a great stay! Firstly Ed was great and easy to deal with and great communication before and during our stay. On arrival the place was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need for the perfect stay...even a cruise ship in the port...!! The car parking was a real bonus and the lift made getting our luggage in a breeze. There was heaps of towels etc which was a real bonus as well as clothes washing detergent, tissues and all bathroom amenities. The kitchen had paper towel, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags etc etc so no need to stock up on anything apart from food for our stay. The location is just perfect. We couldn't believe that only one black away is the beautiful old streets of Quebec city and to beautiful restaurants, cafes and patisseries. Across the road is the port and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful ship docked for a few days so was lovely to see it all lit up at night. Once it left we were treated to a lovely view of the river. The room was quiet as there are only 2 condos per floor and the room is just huge...! I would LOVE to return if it was just a little bit closer to Australia....but if l am ever back this way it would be the only place i would stay.

“Memorial Cup Tour 2015”

Our friends and us stayed here during the Memorial Cup. From the very first contact, until the moment we left absolutely every detail concerning this accommodation was top notch. The size, location, and overall charm of the apartment all led to an amazing awe factor. We often just sat in the extra large living room with a glass of wine or a beer and watch the ships go by on the St Lawrence River. Very relaxing.
Ed, the manager, was great to communicate with and very personable.
We all agree that when we will return to Quebec City the Royal Dalhousie will be our only accommodation option.

From the moment you walk in, you are in awe of the massive living space! From the floor to ceiling windows to the view of the water to the comfortable décor the feel is welcoming! The condo is perfectly equipped with all the comforts of home. Bright, clean, in walking distance to all the local attractions. Local dining is a plus. Much more authentic dining experience, very attentive service.

“A wonderful view and a lovely place to stay and enjoy the cold weather”

We had the Dalhousie condo for 2 nights - 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. One bedroom had a King bed, one had a Queen bed and the last bedroom had 2 twin beds. The King and Queen bedrooms had ensuite baths and the bedroom with twin beds used a full bath that was separate. We ended being the only people in the building for the 2 nights. I guess wintry weather keeps visitors away. Parking is in the lot next to the building. We were able to walk to museums, the Farmer's Market and we were intrigued with watching the ice flows on the river head one direction and then when the tide changed, head the other way.

“Absolutely First Class In every Way”

Aussie family with 3 teenage children, absolutely loved the position and the apartment.
Had a few issues working out the Sat TV setup, but thats about the only thing we could find to complain about :))
The Penthouse apartment is First Class as are the people (Ed and his colleagues), we had to deal with.
Loved it!! and would go there again (if I could afford it LOL).
I think it would help if I tok some french lessons first though...funny thing when we asked if people spoke English, a lot of them were less than helpful, but if we mentioned we were Aussies, their whole demeanour changed and they couldn't be more helpful.
I think the Quebecians still consider themselves more Frenchmen than Canadians and don't have much regard for the Poms:))

“The best in Quebec City”

We have travelled quite a bit and have seen our share of good places to stay. This location is not good - it is GREAT!! The location is superior. The unit is superior. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. When we walked in for the first time, we almost fainted. It is that good. The view out of the full sized windows are of the river which happens to be across the road. If you want the best in Quebec City, you have found it. We certainly will be going back as soon as possible.
