Every time I go to Quebec City, I stay at the Alt Hotel. It's 10 minutes from the old town, it does not have the atmosphere of the old town but the price is really worth it. It's not cheap but it's modern with good equipment and it's very quiet, contrary to the Old town where it is noisy.

There is a no restaurant inside the hotel but one restaurant next door for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a Starbucks next door as well.

All in all, a very good choice gor Quebec City!

Thank you dear JD-Photographer for this nice review.

I am not too sure you know our relationship/partnership with the restaurant Bistango is a nice and long term one, and for other readers, it is connected with the hotel as you do not have to go outside but walk the short hallway on the main level.

Room service through Bistango and packages are also available everyday.

See you soon,

Sylvie

This is a great hotel for my style of travel. I like to be autonomous but comfortable and this hotel suited me very well. It is a a recent and modern hotel with all amenities but is not lavish. The rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is quite large with a walk in shower (no bath) and the HVAC is the quietest and most responsive I have encountered in many a stay. There is complementary Keurig coffee in the room and everything you would expect in a modern hotel. Elevators are quite big , and this along with the step-less showers, ramps and easy entrance from the curb makes this hotel very accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Room service breakfast was well prepared and came on time with a toaster no less! Prices are competitive for this quality of hotel. The hotel is in the west end of the city, near the south shore bridges. It is on several bus routes which will get you every where you want to go in about 20 to 30 minutes. This can be a good option if you go in tourist season, as parking in the city center can be very difficult. Highly recommended.

I just got back from a one week stay in this hotel while in Quebec City for business. I have to say I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The rooms were gorgeous and very modern - a lot of what our style is at home making me feel very comfortable. The front desk staff was great in dealing with the late cancellation of some co-workers of mine who could not make it. The restaurant connected with the hotel has amazing staff and food and is extremely convenient. If I had to pick out a flaw with this hotel, the 1970's wood-paneled fridges...kinda throws you off...

Room Tip: Your can either look at Target of a lit up office tower...no real view.

Dear guest,

I am pleased your 1-week business stay was not too difficult. Doing a good job for one night is not always easy, one full week could be challenging. Our goal is to make sure you relax and enjoy once your business day is over and I am glad we succeeded.

We hope to see you on each of your visits to Quebec City or elsewhere in Canada where you can find an ALT Hotel of Le Germain Boutique-Hotel.

Great rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Large modern room with good coffee and a Starbucks right next door. Close to shopping but business travelers be warned shopping closes pretty early before the end of the week. Wifi seemed better/faster than US hotels.

Great location, next door to Starbucks and close to the shopping malls. We arrived new year's eve and were able to check in early. The staff were wonderful, the room was clean and lovely. I really appreciated the free wifi in the room with a strong signal as i needed to work while i was there. Great stay for business or pleasure.
