The room was pleasant, practical, and reasonably priced, and Mr. Ho was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. It is located in a quiet area, but is not far at all from the action. No complaints. If I return to QC, this will be the first hotel I inquire with.

My sister in Law had spotted this hotel on a previous visit. We stayed 2 nights as a family group in 2 rooms. The rooms were clean with very comfy beds but comprised by the age of the building. We had first floor twin double which I would recommend. Ensuite was good with the largest basin I have ever seen. The hotel is on several floor with no lift , so no good for people with mobility problems. It was surprisingly quiet even with a rock festival going on nearby. Location was perfect for Old Quebec, I did no move the car the whole time , which was in their adjacent car park( not all hotels have parking). Did not try the continental breakfast but it looked ok.

Room Tip: First floor front twin double v nice

So easy to describe this wonderful little place! Charming, warm, welcoming, comfortable….best of all it was so easy to find! If you have ever visited Old Quebec you know that it can be challenging to find your way around the narrow one way streets! Au Petit Hotel was very easy to find, with parking right next door! The Staff very friendly and helpful, we arrived early, our room was not ready, we were offered a parking place and were able to check in a little early. Our room was very charming with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Loved the bay window seating area looking over the street! We were a total of 4 adults and were very comfortable in our room. Be sure to ask for the continental breakfast, for $2.50 you get, fresh coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, croissant and toast, and it is delivered to your room. Quebec City is an amazing place to visit, staying at a little Hotel like this one makes you feel like you are part of the city.

Great find in old Quebec City...we'd definitely stay there again. It is not handicapped accessible (which was fine for us) but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was excellent. Parking is directly beside the hotel and everything within the walled city is walkable. The optional breakfast was good!

First, I must tell you that we found this place through the visitor information office at 12 rue Sainte Anne in Quebec City (across the square from the Frontenac Hotel - look for the big "?" sign). The people at the Info center were terrifically helpful. We drove into town without a booking, and at 4pm were in search of a room for us and our 14 y/o grandson. And they came up with this. Au Petit Hotel is a small hotel very close to town, inside the walled city. We were there June 11 - 13 and the rate was $135 per night (plus a boatload of city taxes that are added to any hotel's rate). I think there are maybe 16 units in the hotel. No elevator and a very small winding staircase. Ah, good reason to travel with a strong, 14 y/o grandson! The hotel has it's own parking area next to the hotel - a separate lot that holds about a dozen cars. They charge separately for it, but I think only $8 per day. Unbelieveably cheap. For $2.50 per person they offered breakfast - delivered to the room - consisting of coffee or tea or hot chocolate, OJ, croissants, butter, jam and fruit. The croissants were the best ever. The owners (? not sure) were very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English as well as French. We loved our stay here. The location was just superb and the room was clean and spacious. So glad the tourist center led us here.

Room Tip: We were in room 27 on 4th floor - had a great setup for us and the grandson. 2 rooms, connecting wi...

Stayed just two nights here, but could have stayed longer. The room was very comfortable, ensuite was good. One of our pillows was very soft and luscious and the other was like a brick...but this is the only negative thing I can say about our stay. Close to a laundromat and loads of places to eat. Also close to the wall if you want to escape the tourist shops and crowds for a while.

Au Petiti Hotel is conveniently located in Vieux Quebec (inside the Walled City). It is off rue Saint- Louis. It is walking distance to many restaurants and historic sites - i.e. Parliament Hill, Plains of Abraham, and Faubourg-St.Jean We have stayed here twice this past year. The hotel was a private home at one time. We found the bathrooms to be small but adequate. All of the bathrooms have been remodeled with new fixtures this year. The hotel has on-site parking for $8 Canadian per day. We parked our car and did not use it for three days. The hotel is owned by a Chinese-Cambodian family. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Need to book in advanced during the high season (summer).
