If you're looking for a souvenir less tacky than the usual t-shirt or mug, try coming down and meeting some local artists. You can take a piece of Quebec home with you for a reasonable price and meet the people who make the art. The church next to the street also has booths where artisans are showing off wares such as wood sculpting, ceramics and jewelry. It's really nice to be able to talk to the artists about their craft and hear about the passion they have for their art.

This is a must see-- the artwork is amazing and the artists are more than willing to talk to you about their work. They are also very low key-- no pressure to buy--and they encourage you to explore all of the styles on display before buying a piece.

Some very talented artists display their work along here - some pieces are stunning. Worth a quick walk to visit and have a look around. The best place in the area to buy some art, as you can get some good deals

I love this little street in Old Quebec city. You can really find amazing paintings and art! I haven't purchased anything, but even if you don't it's worth going just to look at the art!

Rue du Tresor is a very short a norrow street where artists exopsed there art.

You can go there and enjoy the art and speak with artist, or buy yourself something to hang on a wall at home. Or you can just have a quick walk to get a puff of this colorfull street.

A nice place to spend some time if you're an art fanatic but still a cute detour to take if your not that much into art.
