Walked this park on my birthday. It was so wonderful. Perfect day, perfect place. We stopped at Joan of Arc statue and enjoyed the school children playing and learning of the the Halloween folklore of the part of the park.

Yet another excellent example of Quebec City's effort to retain its attachment to, and respect for, its history. A nice place to stroll and reflect!

When you tire of the tourist route in Quebec, wander up past the old Citadelle and take the bush trail along the Plains of Abraham keeping to the cliff edge. Hear the working port, traffic and schoolchildren playing but you are in the middle of the Candaian bush with beatutiful Fall colours.
