“Stroll the park and revisit history”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

We wandered around the Plains of Abraham for about an hour. The park is huge with several walking trails. There is also a platform overlooking the river, a historic Martello tower and views of the Citadel. You can also see the fortification wall and walk along the top. There are no fences to keep you from falling, so be aware with small children. The Joan of Ark garden is also there - a beautiful garden with a statue in the center. I felt perfectly safe walking around this lovely park.

“Worth the Walk”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Beautiful battlefield, stunning views. Find the underground entrance and view the house and military items hidden behind sod bunkers. Its a walk but well worth it especially after supper as the sun is setting.

“Very beautiful views”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Nice views and a relaxing way to spend an hour or so. We had a rental car so we drove all through the park and stopped at various points to take photos and view the scenery. Perfect fall day activity.

“beautiful and free”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

Just like the song says, the True North Strong and Free.
Beautiful here and not a nickel to get in.
I wish there were more signs that indicated exact spots where the battles formed etc.
Nevertheless, well worth a look and the views of the St Lawrence are beautiful as well.
Make sure you take the boardwalk promenade. You do need to be relatively fit as there are a lot of stairs.

“So Beautiful”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Enjoyed a few hours of strolling the Plains of Abraham. Everything is just so beautiful whether it be the landscape, the children playing or picnicking, the St. Lawrence or just sitting and relaxing.
