We did the City Tour with the add-on of The Ice Hotel. Our driver and tour guide Phillip was entertaining and full of knowledge about Quebec City and Province. We had to be flexible with the tour schedule, as it was off-season and so a few tours were combined, which resulted in a bit of driving around, dropping people off and picking people up - but hey, you're on holidays - relax! No big deal!
We saw all the major sights, and jumped off the bus a few times for photo opportunities, and had plenty of time for lunch too. My husband got a bit annoyed at the length of time we spent at the Ice Hotel- as he felt than an hour would have been enough, and we were there for two hours before the bus returned - but I was quite happy wandering around the gift store (!)
We saw other couples on the tour only tipping Phillip $2 - which we thought was dreadful - his driving skills alone ( navigating the tiny cobblestoned streets and roadworks ) deserved more!
The Ice Hotel is amazing too, by the way - has to be seen to be believed!!
The tour cost us around $50 CAD each - pretty good value for around six hours!!
