A great little area to walk around. Very touristy, but some great restaurants, shops, street performances and even an alley dedicated to artists and their works for sale.

Thank Danielle C

Preferred the Upper Town to Lower. Had a better feel if you prefer less (quieter, less congested). The artist row was a fun place to browse, the variety of quaint shops and restaurants gave us many options for our 4 day stay.

For sure we will go back to Quebec to visit and expand more time to enjoy each of the attractions they have to offer. I recommend for all travelers going to Quebec City to stop by and visit this magical place! A corner of Europe in Canada. Excellent City.

Everything inside the walls of the old city is beautiful--from the shops and restaurants along the Rue St Louis to the Chateau Frontenac, along the boardwalk (Terrase Dufferin) and down the hill to Notre Dame cathedral, and then down the hill to the lower city and the Place Royal. No matter where you turn you can't go wrong.
