“If you are staying Levis, it's worth taking the ferry and parking your car on the Levis side.”

Owner description: One of Québec’s best-kept secrets and one of the most spectacular view of the Old Town. Located at the heart of Old Québec City, the ride (one-way) takes about 12 minutes. During summertime, discover the marked bike paths located on both sides of the shore: Corridor du Littoral (Quebec City) and Parcours des Anses (Lévis). In winter, the mouvement of the ice on the St. Lawrence River is truly impressing.

We did the ferry one day and drove over from Levis another day. Those 200 stairs are tough to go up and I'm in good shape. Although after a day of driving over and meandering to find parking, we've decided next time we might just park the car at the ferry for $8 and then ferry over. It's all fairly close for the cost and I'd rather wait for the ferry than dodge people and hope to find $18 parking.

Overall, this was an okay experience but I would probably not do it again. A short 10 minute ride across the St Lawrence. We did it at around 6:30 PM and the sun was still so strong that we could not get pictures of Quebec City. Nothing in Levi's that we could see to tempt us to get off the boat. We paid the round trip fare, which in retrospect was a waste since they did not ask for tickets on the way back.

This is a commuter ferry for those who go back and forth to Quebéc City. It can also be a fun ride for tourists who want to get out on the water without doing a full fledged cruise.

Lots of room on the Ferry. If you don't get off on the other side you can get away with just paying a one way fare - something I didn't know until after we paid round trip.

I really enjoyed watching how they load the bikes and cars on the ferry.

Everyone in the family enjoyed it. It a good way to relax in the middle of a day of walking in Quebéc City.

We had never taken the ferry to Quebec City before so thought it would be a great way to arrive this time. The staff was helpful in showing us how to board etc. The view was fantastic! Glad we did this and would do it again.

Nice short (about 10 minute) ride to St-Laruent. It’s worth the $6.50 round trip for the nice ride and view of Quebec. We did get off the ferry and had a beer in the microbrewery just off the boat (turn right off the boat, walk through the parking lot toward the blue umbrellas).
