“What a wonderful jewelbox of a museum.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

The museum provides and interesting view of the history of Quebec. And the free guided tours can be of great help in understanding French Canada. We were there fro a temporary exhibit about Paris during the late 19th and early 2oth Century. It was just spectacular.

Check your weather forecast, and if rain is the order of the day, run to this museum. And even if rain is not in the forecast, do go.

“Unique exhibits”

Beautiful museum. We went to the Paris in the Belle Epoque exhibit and the Quebecois exhibit. Totally different themes but both intriguing.

“Nice Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

Give yourself about two hours as it well worth it. We bought the two museum ticket package which gives you a nice discount. There is also a three museum package but we didn't have enough time to do all three.

“Awesome Museum with Great History and Modern Exhibits”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

My wife and I went here on our recent trip to Quebec and we loved it. There's a permanent display on the complete history of Quebec from the first settlers up to modern times. There was another exhibit setup with the history of video games from the original Pong right up to XBox 360 and PS3. The coolest part was that all the game consoles were setup for everyone to play. You could pick between Angry Birds on an iPad, to the Arcade game Terminator 2, to Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo. It was really cool. There was also an exhibit on Paris, France from 1889 - 1914. It was all about the traveling circuses and fairs that were around at the time. There were vintage posters, pictures, outfits, and blurbs all about the history of the time. I think we spent 4 hours here and I wasn't bored at all. A great museum.
