“A very interesting museum”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

The exhibitions presented here are often quite original. The permanent exhibitions are alos very interesting to learn about the history of Canada. The building is very nice and located in the best part of the city. Parking in the parking lot in front of the museum is the best option sionce parking on the street may not be always easy.

“Easy to navigate”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

We were walking around Place Royal and Lower town when we came upon the doors of the Museum. We went in to see what exhibits were on (Samurais, and another about Indigenous ppl of New Zealand) and found out it was free (this was New Year's day - we weren't expecting it to be open!). The staff was very friendly, it was very clean, the exhibits were well displayed and very interesting.

“Nice Museum”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Good museum with lots of Quebec and Canadian history. We were impressed by the quality of the exhibits. A great way to spend a frozen afternoon. The cafe was absolutely excellent. We should have had a few more meals there; great value.

“Wow!”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We were there to see the Samourais exhibit, and we were not disappointed - it was quite extensive and very informative, and we had a lot of fun. The souvenir shop had some very good souvenirs for this exhibits, and we not overpriced.

We also visited the "Michel Tremblay" exhibit - he is one of the most prolific writers in Quebec and his plays have been translated and played around the world. It was very interesting and the exhibit was nicely put together.

I highly recommend.
