“ Charming but ... Temps Libre gives bad information / service”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

Charming especially since the Christmas decor was still in place & snow covered. However, be careful shopping as the clerks may not be fully aware if their products. As was the case in the shop Temps Libre, purchased $$ clothing article asked opinion on fit. Purchased recommendation which turned out to be absolutely wrong.. No problem, called asked hours informed the clerk need to return item, took cab ride back to store.,,,CLOSED !! Was given wrong hours for closing and opening!! Very bad service & when questioned didn't care either..

“Beautiful and charming”

A good place to eat and buy memorabilia, souvenirs. If you are a fashion fan and willing to spend, it is a great place to make an upgrade to your wardrobe.

“Romantic French Canadian Village”

It was a sweet location for strolling through shops hand in hand. We found a wonderful coffee shop with tasty pastries and wondered about for a few hours during Winter Carnival. The atmosphere was very relaxing.

“Souvenirs”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

Nestled below the precipice, this tourist area gives way to the port.
The cut stone buildings are a testament to the craftsmanship and architectural design of another era.
Snow atop the sloping rooftops is removed early in the morning in order to prevent it from cascading inadvertently upon unsuspecting customers coming out of boutiques and restaurants.
A great place to pick up a few gifts to bring back home.
We were able to drive down from the upper town (after check-out) and park the car along the perimeter (metered parking) while we shopped for a few souvenirs.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

This quaint little area is worth a visit. You can take an electric bus for 2 dollars from upper town. Stores and restaurants are great and there is some one of a kind artwork. The streets are very European - small and cozy.
