“A quaint place”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

For a flavour of what the town was like in "days of old" this is a good place to visit. Plenty of shops and photo opportunities and loads of places to eat/drink.

“Loved walking the streets”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

If you are looking for bargains, this is not the place but if you are looking for nice places to shop and a variety of artistic items, you will be in heaven. The area is quaint and enjoyable.

“The heart of Old Quebec”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

Dating back to the 1600's, this section of the city is filled with restored buildings, restaurants, and galleries. Very nice. It's located down by the river which involves a going and up and down the hill from the main part of Old Quebec. May be challenging for older people, but you can take the funicular.

“Nicest place in Quebec / Canada”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

A must see of Quebec!
Petit Champlain is very charming, it has some resemblance with Montmartre in Paris except you find it at the bottom of the funiculaire instead of on top - but if you have enough legs, the stairs are part of the charm.
I would advise to go during day light and night time (magical lighting) if you like photography because it will offer very different photos.
