The original founding location of Quebec. Quaint streets and restaurants. Spectacular views of the St Lawrence river and th huge wall surrounding the Old City Quebec.

A mixture of fine shops and tourist draws, in a lovely historic street starting at the base of the funicular in Lower Town. Have a browse, and enjoy the shopping.

OK, there are other beautiful places in North America. But the view on the rue du Petit Champlain, during winter, on a snowy day, from the top of the stairs at its beginning, is the prettiest sight I have seen in North America (although a native Québécois, as you may have guessed, I have lived in US and travelled quite extensively during these years. Tell me what you think...

Beautiful boutiques, restaurants and shops, hidden away or lining the streets. Do not miss when you come to Quebec City. Venture downwards from the Chateau Frontenac, and you'll be awed by your discovery!
