This is the type of place one needs to tour with explanations to support what is seen. No tours were available when we went but there were people available to welcome us and send us through the side door, which is supposed to be a religious experience. We understood the concept, but were confused by the process. Nevertheless, the church is magnificent with many examples of devotional works of art. The gift store leaves a lot to be desired, and no one was buying.
