Note: There are a few musicians singing with recorded music and selling their CD's = if you don't want to hear the music (we didn't) continue walking towards the end away from the Frontenec - you will be happier. Enjoyed the view from our bench overlooking the St. Lawrence. We could tell that local people were jogging along the wooden planks. There are a few "look down" areas shielded by clear plastic to see some old pottery dug up in the past which is enjoyable to take a glance at. It is an easy walking experience, no hills. We had a picnic on a bench facing the waterfront towards the very end and it was quiet and quaint. That slide / metal item / if you are there in the summer and wonder what it is......... it fills with ice/snow and families slide down it during the winter months. I had to ask - oh, that would be fun !! but, we went in summer - so it's not in use. Put this on your to do list for about 1 hour if you walk the entire length and stop a bit to gaze about.
