Host and Hostess are wonderful. They really want you to have a lovely visit in Quebec. We stayed at both their properties. If at all possible stay at the "old town" Saint Louis property as "Location" is almost everything.
I must say the other location is MUCH Quieter (no buses and horse drawn buggies going by late into the night) and you are right on the bus line, so as a fall back it is fine. Bad part is you are in the suburbs, not in the old historic part of Quebec.
We walks EVERY WHERE and also took the bus. Bus system was GREAT! The travel suggestions you get from your Host and Hostess are priceless. They also have a cab if you need a ride to the airport etc. We had a great visit. Quebec is a beautiful City.

Room Tip: No elevator, so keep that in mind if you are on the third floor!

I stayed here for four nights and I loved it! Madame Balti and her husband are very friendly, chatty and helpful, and make great breakfasts! This is an ideal stop for people who are on a budget and who simply want a base to tour the city from - a roof over their heads, breakfast in the morning, and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The B&B is located in the Old Town which means that all the tourist spots are very accessible and within walking distance. While the hosts do speak English, you'll get a lot more out of conversations if you can communicate in French (it was great practice for me!). I have no complaints at all and really recommend it! Merci Madame Balti! :)

Room Tip: Rooms with ensuite bathrooms are available too!

Four of us stayed six nights and were pleased with the convenient location, the comfortable, clean rooms with bath, the friendliness and helpfulness of Madame Balti and her husband, Ahmed, and of course the delicious homecooked breakfasts. Ahmed is a taxi driver and can meet you and take you back to the airport.

Room Tip: If climbing steps is a problem, ask for the second floor.

This is a very friendly and accomodating b&b. The host, Madame Balti, is very friendly, funny and serves a great breakfast. The b&b is very accessible and convenient in the "Old Town".
Madame Balti's husband is very helful also, with serving breakfast and advising where to go and what to do in the area. He has his own taxi service.
