This marked our second stay at the Holiday Inn Ste. Foy. We were so pleased on our previous stay three years ago that we did not hesitate to book it this year- a second time. The accomodation again was excellent; the suite -fabulously spacious and clean, with both the King and Sofabed extremely comfortable. Staying in a suite this time, I was only mildly disappointed with the refrigerator which did not have a freezer compartment. But personnel at the front desk were gracious and kept our requisite ice gel packs in their refrigerator during our stay. Personnel at check-in and check-out were extremely efficient, professional, courteous, and friendly. A lovely cap off to our pleasant stay was to find on our return an E-mail note thanking us for staying with them at the Holiday Inn Ste Foy. That was a very nice touch indeed, and overall merits a 5-star rating from us.

Wonderful check in service, the man at the desk was so polite and helpful. The room was so clean and smelled fresh when we entered. The room was also modern. bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was great considering it was free. The check out was fast and easy. Also they have an outdoor Jacuzzi that's like a small pool that is open all year round!

Nice, clean and good looking hotel near the Quebec bridges.

Staff are very professionals and helpfuls.
I asked for a late check-out and they had accepted that I stay until 1:00pm without problem.

As a priority club platinum member they did not offer me a room upgrade as usual but they bring me a small box of Laura Secord chocolate at my room !!

Breakfast is ok. The place is really clean and the girl that work there is really professional - a little smile would be appreciated !

This place is great! A bit pricey, but totally worth it. When we got there, we were impressed by the clean and modern decor of the lobby (which continues on into the hotel and rooms). The staff are bilingual and are kind, polite, and helpful. Checking in was easy, and when we got to our room, it was beautiful. The sinks are really cool looking, and they give you lots of shampoo and soap and lotion which they replace everyday, if need be. The beds are so comfortable, and they have firm and soft pillows, depending on what you prefer. The desk chair does not fit the desk, which makes a big inconvenience. The TV is really nice. The alarm clock is not lit up and cannot be read in low light. There's hardwood flooring, and it's gorgeous. There is not a pool, but they have a nice and big hottub. It's outside, so it's not really hot....but "warm". We used it every day and enjoyed relaxing after a day of sight-seeing. The breakfast is so nice! You can have three types of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, inst-oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, milk, four types of cereal, hashbrowns, sausages, cinnamon buns, waffles, bacon, cheese omlettes, scrambled eggs, muffins, toast, bagels, and three types of juice. Theres plenty of seats. Some days, though, the breakfast was inconsistent and did not offer everything, like the omlettes and bacon and sausages and muffins. But it was really delicious. The staff is always bringing out fresh food. There are two computers that are free to use. Very helpful. It's more than 15 minutes drive to Old Quebec City, but other than that, this place is fantastic.

Clean, pleasant hotel with a particularly helpful staff; manager, for example, called tourist attraction for us to check the day's schedule for us (rather than us trying to do it with our mangled/rudimentary French); another worker made a good suggestion for where to go running (hotel is situated in a non-running area).

Big caveat (not necessarily a dealbreaker; just make sure you know what you're getting into): It's pretty far away from anywhere in Quebec that a tourist might want to visit. On the bright side, you don't have to drive into downtown or the walled city to wherever you're going; a city bus (the 400) has a stop just down the road at the satellite tourist office that essentially provides express service to the old city (a 10-15 minuted ride; $3 per day for unlimited back-and-forth for adults; $1.50 for kids). In the summer, when we were there, it runs 7 days a week from morning til late at night. In the off season, it doesn't run as often. We booked at the last minute, so we couldn't be choosy; next time around, or in the winter, we might try to book something closer to the heart of things.

Our stay was from 8/8-8/12. Hotel was clean, got the king bed we requested, breakfast was good, service was friendly. Had no complaints at all. There is a free shuttle to Old town Quebec but it leaves at 8:15 am and brings you back at 6:15 pm. We didn't want to get up that early so we took the bus. It picks you up in front of the Best Western next door and is only $3.00 for the day. Hold on to your transfer for when you are returning. The bus ride is about 20-25 minutes and leaves you off right in the heart of the city. But, you get back on across the street. So, for free wi/fi, free parking, and a free breakfast this hotel was a winner for us.

This is a great hotel and the floors and laminate so you don't have to deal with dirty carpets. The rooms are huge and spotless, there is no signs of dust or any dirty anywhere.
The beds are sooooooooooo comfortable, you hate to get up in the morning.

Each room has a small fridge and there is a microwave in the lobbey that you can use.

It is just a really nice comfortable clean place to stay. The staff are exceptional and are fluent in both English and french and incredibly friendly and go out of hte way to assisit their guest.

Highly reccomend this hotel.
