“Best Place to Visit in Montreal”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

This bed and breakfast is in the heart of beautiful Montreal. Rob and Joel where very gracious guest and made a wonderful and healthy breakfast every morning during our stay. Every morning we had spirited conversations about the sights and sounds as well as the history of the city. The B and B is immaculately clean. Rooms are spacious and it also incudes a small fridge, family size laundry washer and dryer, Coffee maker and tea maker in the downstairs corriders. The Victorian home is very cozy and decorated with an artistic flair, complements of the master sculpter Joel. This vacation felt less of a visit to an unknown city and more of a weekend stay over close friends home. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here and I am sure my this will not be the last time me and my closest girlfriends will stay here!

Room Tip: I woul recommend rooms 4 at this is closer to the kitchenette area

I had a WONDERFUL time at La Loggia Art & Breakfast. Three friends and I spent a well deserved vacation in Montreal and loved our stay at this B&B. Our hosts, Rob & Joel, made us feel at home. In addition to the wonderful attractions of Montreal, our vacation was made complete with stimulating conversation, coffee, and breakfast. The breakfast was very simple, filling, and delicious! Everything was fresh and organic.
Our room was very comfortable (Rooms 3 & 4). We shared the bath in the lower level. There is a kitchenette where we could relax with tea, coffee, or snacks.
The B&B is perfectly situated in the village, walking distance to most things and VERY close to the metro.
Their reccomendations for activities and dining were great! We loved the Korean restaurant and the ice hotel was one of the highlights of our trip.
Thank you Rob & Joel, I cannot wait to see you again!

Room Tip: Room 3 has an electric fireplace that keeps the room very toasty in the winter!

A Victorian house renovated into a charming BnB, furnished in a lovely and comfortable manner. It's located in the heart of the village with lots of great little cafes and restos, which are on a list for guests' guidance. The room was very comfortable indeed and had a nice little patio in back, perfect for summer months.

Rob is a relaxed and warm host with a really pleasant way and a ready smile; he serves a great breakfast. He was very helpful with uncertain travel-times and parking was not a problem with his guidance. I'm not sure what else one could want from a BnB; it's a great choice.

Hosts Rob and Joel care for every aspect of their guests; the outstanding breakfast of local foods, the pristine condition of their rooms, and their genuine concern about guests' interests to make spot-on recommendations for activities and dining. Their love of art and knowledge of Montreal added enormously to our visit. (Although i hesitate to publish this rave review, because i don't want more competition when trying to book La Loggia for our nest trip to Montreal...)

Magnificently and artfully furbished and still comfortable. Quiet and clean.

Delightful hosts with deep knowledge of the city and the province of Quebec. Breakfast selections plentiful and healthy. Surrounding neighborhood filled with interesting store and good eats. Very close to park and metro. And even in snowstorm of Dec. 2012, parking relatively easy. Rob even jumped in our car to help us find a spot!

All intentions for many return visits!

I have been going to Montreal for at least 20 years, always in search of the "perfect" B & B. Of course, no matter what anyone says on this site, you can never find the 'most' magnificent get-away, because those only exist in one's imagination, to some extent. That said, I will say, without reservation, that La Loggia provided me with the most luxurious feeling of being taken care of, having privacy respected, and feeling of abundance that heightens any vacation 100-fold. Rob and Joel and are interested and interesting people and hosts. When sending my email confirmation for my room, they included a listing of their favorite cafe's, restos in their neighborhood - excellent Thai, Korean, French, Polish spots right on their street - and also more upscale restaurants. There were comfy bathrobes and slippers for my room, a most luxurious-feeling bed and linens, and a genuinely warm and caring welcome. Breakfast was not only delicious and refreshing - several organic items to choose from - conversation was stimulating and wide-ranging. I recommend La Loggia with two thumbs up. Although, after raving like this, it may decrease my chances of getting a room there when I want one!

La Loggia was the perfect place to stay for us 6 girls for my bachelorette party in MTL! perfectly located downtown to all of the places you could want to go. it was cozy and comfortable, lots of space and common areas so we could all hang out together for a glass of wine. Rob and Joel prepared fresh healthy and local breakfasts each morning. the place itself was charming, filled with unique artwork and personality. i would go back in a heartbeat!
