Go before 2 p.m. (for breakgast) and the special is 1,99 $. Yes, 1,99 $. Sausages and eggs + potatoes. Good stuff.
Go between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. and you CAN get the special, for 4,99 $. For this amount, you get: 1 soup of the day, and a choice of main course, such as souvlaki, steak club sandwich (I loved it, it has a good orange sauce in it) + fries.

No coffee or tea included in the special, though.

This is one of the cheapest restaurants in the city.
Full breakfast for $1.99( 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and coffee)
Table d'hote, a daily special for $5:
with soup, coffee, choices like spaghetti, smoked meat, quarter chicken or bambino pizza and other diner food.
Having cheap prices lowers one's expectations. It's across from many hospitals so if you compare it to cafeteria food, it is much better.
The food does not wow you, but it does not disappoint you either, it gets you going on your way.

Table-side jukebokes (Candle in the Wind, Titanic Song), are only to annoy others, pay for your food, put a quarter in and choose any song and leave the others to bask in 90's schmaltzy cheesy failure.

The booths are tiny, the bathroom is despicable, and i had a great view of the kitchen, which is a true horror show.
Montreal could use a Cleanliness System with grades on windows like Toronto or California. Blanche-Neige would get a C.
But as long as the health inspectors have not shut it down, it's fine by my.
If i'm in the area and low on cash, i'll be there.

I go to Blanche Neige very often and every time I go I always get their famous Poutine or chicken souvlaki. I also really like their home made tzatziki sauce. They have a 10 page menu where they can satisfy every craving you have at a very affordable price, from Chinese food to Italian food, to Greek food and Canadian food. This place is awesome!!!

It is very close to the Hospital and they served breakfast. A good option if you need to go to the Hospital. However, eater BEWARE. The service is TERRIBLE. We received our meal 23 minutes after the guy who came after us received and finished his breakfast already. (We started timing only after that guy left) The place itself is dark and dingy. The chairs and tables are so old; nails and screws are sticking out of them. They tried to look retro but they just succeeded in gathering dusts. There a lot of better options in CDN, just walk a little bit farther up or down.
