With one caveat: you need to disregard the price. I had Octopus appetizer that was fresh and tender. The exact same could be said of the veal chop. Exceptional dining. Exceptional service. Great atmosphere. I totally enjoyed the evening. But if you go there, money cannot be an object. Dinner for five was equivalent to an exotic car rental payment for a few days.

Interesting creative Italy-inspired menu. We were 3 couples, half of us non-drinkers. Every plate was a work of art visually and a delight to the palate. There were suggested wines but for the most part our group declined them. Our server was fluent in both French and English, was very helpful, engaging and knowledgeable. She also arranged for a specially aged balsamic vinegar to dress the ice cream as requested. Serving sizes were adequate and the mix of favors for each dish was extraordinary. With each mouthful there was a burst of flavors.
We were fortunate in being seated without reservation, but as this chef becomes known, I suspect reservations would be necessary.

Around 10 of us shared a good dinner in a private room. All of the food was good in particular the mozzarella starter was outstanding and I loved my beef main. Service was well paced and the wine list was good. Upstairs was buzzing so it looked like a good spot for smaller groups as well.

We went on the recommendation of a good friend, and were certainly not disappointed. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but once in the door, it felt bright and welcoming. Service was attentive but not rushed. The sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful.
The menu was sufficiently varied, so that most of our party chose different dishes. all were rated excellent. We shaded tidbits, so that I was about to agree with the excellent designations.
The atmosphere was bright and quite cosy for a medium sized room. Most importantly for me, it was quiet enough for quiet conversation across the table, and did not have any loud or raucous background music(in my mind the killer of fine dining).
We all agreed that we would return when next in Montreal.

Had a business dinner here last night with about 25 people. We had a private room in the basement. Some pretty steep stairs lead to the basement, so definitely not for the mobility challenged!

Service was pretty good. House wine was actually quite good. Food was a bit of a disappointment. Small serving sizes, with minimal sides - I had the snapper, which tasted "fishy" and it was accompanied by half a baby carrot and half a small white radish as "vegetables" - yes, that's right - half a carrot and radish! Bread was dry and stale. Dessert was good though.

Unfortunately, it is NOT one of the better restaurants I have dined in and quite disappointed. Would not return.
