We stayed 2 nights during the jazz fesstival and found the hotel to be clean and convenient. There are buses and rail service close to the hotel but we had a car so it was a quick 20 minute ride into the jazz fesstival area each day. they do charge for parking. The noise level was really low for a hotel across the street from the airport. I was impressed by that. Good basic breakfast buffett too. I would recommend it to anyone and I would stay there again.

Good day,

We are very happy to know you had a good stay in Montreal and good time at the Montreal Jazz Festival.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to give your feedback regarding our hotel. Also, maybe for your future visits, we also recommend to our guest to use the Montreal Transport Society and take the 747 bus line leaving from the airport. For only 8$, your get access to this direct bus line to downtown plus a unlimited bus and subway for 24 hours.

Once again, thank you very much for giving us your feedback and for choosing our hotel as your home away from home in Montreal.

Sincerely,

Stayed here for 2 nights. The roads around the hotel are a mess because of ongoing construction but the hotel made up for this. Staff were friendly and very helpful with sightseeing advice. Rooms were a good size and clean. Washroom was clean too.
Good variety of complimentary teas / coffee at the self service table near the front desk - available 24 hrs.
Continental breakfast - simple but ample. Staff were always refilling trays and containers. They made sure that everyone was well looked after even when deluged with a huge tour bus group on our second morning there. Impressive!
Quick, effecient check in and check out. Excellent service all round.
We didn't have time to try out the pool or excercise area.
Would definately recommend this hotel

Ended up staying the night here when we came back late one night from Montego Bay, Jamaica, before flying back to Ottawa the next morning.

We arrived late at night, but thanks to the airport transfer service we were able to quickly reach the hotel. The night staff were very helpful, and taking my Marriott Silver card quickly gave us a room to relax in. The were also great at giving us a list of restaurants still open late at night, who would deliver to the hotel.

With breakfast included the next morning, we grabbed the airport shuttle and headed to our flight nice and refresh.

I stayed at this hotel for a one night business trip. The hotel had everything I was looking for and the service I received was five star.

The hotel has a shuttle from the airport, a nice lobby/lounge area, clean spacious rooms, and a small exercise room.

The best part about this hotel was the service, they picked up the phone quickly, gave me accurate information, and made me feel welcome. I missed the shuttle in the morning back to the airport and they quickly had a hotel car in front of the hotel to make an extra trip, just for me, to get to the airport on time. And they did this without me asking for a special favor. I was really impressed.

Room Tip: Choose a high floor if you want to see a little of the Montreal area.

We stayed for one night at the Fairfield Inn near the Montreal Airport. The hotel is very well maintained and the bed is quite comfortable. The only issue that I had was train noise during the night. We were on the 8th floor and had I it to do over again, I would request a room facing away from the train tracks.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite updated and the breakfast quite good. The hotel shuttle runs regularly every half hour to the airport. You pick up the shuttle at Port B just outside arrivals. In the hotel information, there is a list of several places where you can get delivery or take out. There was an italian restaurant just a couple of blocks away and we got take out from there. It was quite good. We were jet lagged from an overseas flight and it was just the right amount of food for us.

I would recommend this hotel but I would request a room away from the train if I stayed there again.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the train

When we checked in we were greeted by excellent helpful and pleasant English speaking front desk staffs that were always willing to help with everything from the efficient speedy check in, to parking, restaurant menus, shopping or hotel orientation.

The room was quiet and nicely furnished and in good condition. There is no fridge or mini bar in the room so be prepared to BYOB if you wish an early cocktail as the bar is not open during the day!

We found the mattress firm and somewhat comfortable and we had no problem getting a good night’s rest. The plane noise and traffic from passing trucks was minimal and not a deal breaker.

The fitness room has a good selection of equipment; the tread mills however directly overlook the pool through a large window. We avoided the pool not wishing to be spectators to all the guys on the treadmills. This set up is unfortunately designed as a voyeur sport for fitness club participants and not for the privacy and comfort ability of pool users

The restaurant / bar opens at 5:00 PM and closes at 11:00 PM or earlier if there are no customers…… Do not expect to check in at 3:00PM and proceed to have a beer at the bar. There is no room service and the restaurant offers a short list of simple fare items. Pretty much any serious dining options are located outside of the hotel

Breakfast suited the complimentary offering and consisted of the usual continental fare with the addition of English muffin, sausage & egg sandwiches or Quesadillas that one heats in the microwave. There were two girls who were constantly refilling and making sure everything was in order.

All in all we had a good stay and found it excellent value for the money. Should we have the need we would feel confident in staying here again.
