“Delicious”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Great food ! The dinner menu includes almost every dish from the à la carte menu and is super cheap for the quantity and quality !

Service was a bit slow but waiter was extremely nice !

I'll definitely come back here !

“Original menu in zen atmosphere”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Nonya is a great place for a zen romantic supper.

The atmosphere is clean, modern, and ethnic, with quiet music and low voice service.
Plates present a variety of tasty bites, full of refined originality.

Excellent restaurant for a date, and close to neighbourhood bars for last drinks.

“Indonesian food in Montreal”
Reviewed May 19, 2012

Nicely decorated restaurant on the Plateau side of Bernard street. The indonesian food was quite tasty and the service was friendly but quite slow. $27 per person fixed menu is a bit expensive for the neighbourhood but it seems Nonya is the only indonesian restaurant in Montreal. Definitely worth a visit or two...

“Good for rendang beef, skip the rest”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

This place offers a la carte and fixed priced menus. This baffles me since most of the stuff is offered on the fixed menus anyway (which is pretty good value).

I have been several times and have always regretted trying new things and not sticking to the rendang beef, which is very tasty. The other dishes are relatively bland.

The service and atmosphere is nice enough - very calm. Most of the clientele oddly seem to be of a certain age bracket (baby boomers) and I'm not sure why.
