Went to the restaurant as part of the Montreal highlight festival. The menu was based on foie gras. The grilled foie gras was very good the wellington filet was good and thevother two meals were average. The service was professional and friendly. A good thing is a bring your own wine restaurant. Ussually the Montreal restaurants charge 2-3 time the SAQ price.

I ate here about a year ago as part of a fairly large group (holiday dinner). I'm vegetarian, spoke with them well ahead of time and was assured by the chef that I wouldn't be disappointed - they would put together an excellent vegetable plate for me. That didn't happen - I expected a good dinner (they have a good reputation in the area) and I had what I view as the worst meal at any restaurant in Montreal in at least 10 years. My plate was essentially abit of everything without meat they had in the kitchen, piled in layers on the dish (including salad with salad dressing). I will not return, and my group will not be returning anytime soon - with that lack of professionalism they lost alot of customers that day... If they don't want to cook a for vegetarians, fine - just say so and we will go elsewhere; but don't abuse your clients. (FYI - it is not my habit to criticize places unless they really deserve it - see my many other reviews. But they deserve it...) (That said, if you eat meat and want a decent French bistro, it will probably be fine.)

Very pleasant service - polished but not stuffy. Food was excellent, especially the creme brulee au foie gras et champigons sauvages, pan fried foie gras with a blueberry sauce and the hot mousse au chocolat. Prices are also reasonable. Looking forward to returning.

The "bisque de homard" was unforgettable.
