Likeed that it feels like some places we went too in France. Food was great and the steak sauce was to die for.
Parking is difficult.

We were greeted warmly and taken great care of. We had an amazing tuna/thon and frites - really tasty. The slightly weird approach to the restaurant might be off-putting but once inside, you can sit by the window and enjoy the view of the old port.

didn't know it was byob...that's ok...but waiter only offered water...did not make us aware there was soda...waiter didn't bother with us much...ordered fries for child...never brought it...thought she would eat from our plate...(which we know children want own dish).. so we had to order again...food okay...

We were more than 25 people.

Set menu for 42$. A bite expensive, but we could bring our own wine and we were in the Old Port.

Good appetizers, steak or salmon and cupcakes for dessert.

Good service in general.

On our last day in Montreal, we wanted to have a fancy dinner. However, it's hard to find a nice place to eat where the quality could match our quantity--we had 11 people: six siblings, one cousin, one boyfriend, one girlfriend and her triplets. We went up to an upstairs dining area and sat at a big square table, perfect for us. It was BYOB, so we each (not knowingly) went to the liquor store and bought a bottle of wine and beer. Needless to say, we had plenty of booze. The waiter was very accommodating, even until late in the night when we were determined to finish alll the wine. We ordered everything from steak to shrimp and scallops. They have the authentic french menues up on the wall yet paper napkins (that we all know work soo much better than cloth...). The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious. They even had a man go around and refill the fries on your plate! At the end of the night, they split all of our checks. It was the perfect mix of fine dining and a young night out with friends. Not too fancy and snobby, yet classy.
