Very good restaurant , best steack tartare ever. Even if there is no kids menu if you ask they can prepare something for them . We had simple pasta and kids were happy so do us .

On Non 22 we ate dinner at Bonaparte in a lovely elevated window seat looking out on the street, and loved the ambience and the food..(my veal terrine was super although I may not choose bison steak again...). Ordering a prix fix dinner, we opted for a (delicious) cheese plate and one sweet dessert, so ended up with four courses in effect. (While surprisingly no crackers were offered with the cheeses, the bread was brought back to use with the cheeses).
I'm writing because I'm rather shocked that a person reviewing just a few days before us was disappointed! There are so many good restaurants here in the old section of Monteal but so far this has been our favorite.

We got a recommendation to Bonparte and went in for the last meal on our trip. The food was good but service could not be any worse. Please eat elsewhere ...They took nearly under two hours to get everything we ordered.Never again.I've informed Sofitel our repeat hotel in Montreal to kindly not recommend this place.

If you want delicious French food, attentive but not intrusive service in a nice atmosphere then look no more! Setting is reserved and menu is classic French cuisine, you won’t find anything trendy here. No-one at our table was disappointed in anything they ordered. Good wine list with some excellent values if you know what to look for.

My husband and I went here for a romantic dinner while vacationing in Montreal. We had the seven course tasting menu for dinner. It was a very good value, and the filet mignon entree was great! The wine selection is very nice as well.
