“oh la la la la la la!”

This B&B is soooo beautiful, if you are needing beauty. I went to Montreal for a long weekend for a much needed break and was a bit nervous after my last B&B experience in this city. Fortunately, this one was much more suitable to me and my needs :) and the owner was much nicer and more relaxed.

Great location in The Village, with the Bixi right out the door! My room, on 1st floor, which looked out at Giles' magnificent garden was spectacular, clean as a whistle, luscious and fairytale like. Felt like I was in a giant cake. I loved the "red" bathroom I used and even languished in the claw foot tub for an hour one morning. Great water pressure in the circular shower too-

I can't say enough about the gorgeous design of this place inside and out. The ginkgo trees, large goldfish pond, exotic bushes, vines and circular turquoise stairwell out back created a faraway oasis in the middle of a vibrant hood. Definitely got the beauty therapy I needed and look forward to returning!!!

Room Tip: My fav, away from the breakfast dining room b/c i don't like to socialize in the a.m. or hear th...

We are two friends visiting from Grad School in the States (23 & 29) Montreal and wanted a nice place to stay. We found Turquoise B&B from a recommendation on Lonely Planet. So we trusted the book and man are we surprised at how awesome of a find Turquoise B&B is. The host is lovely, the rooms are spacious, immaculate, warm, and very comfortable. The location can not be beat (3 minute walk to the heart of the Village) and a beautiful 20 minute walk to the Old City and 15 minute walk to the Latin Quartier with breakfast waiting every morning. The price is very affordable. We split the room so we paid $40 each a night. I really don't have a single negative thing to say. We will definitely be coming back, I highly recommend this to anyone, from Students looking to stay in a lively area near all the restaurants and bars, to couples looking for a relaxing and comfortable place.

The internet photos don't do justice to this fabulous B and B. Thelocation could not be better- a short walk to two Metro stops on the Green Line, as well as downtown and Vieux Montreal. Each of the guest rooms is more lavishly decorated than the next.
The host, Gilles is very helpful with suggestions about neighborhood restaurants and other points of interest.

I can't recommend this place enough. Gilles, the owner, has put a lot of thought and energy into designing an attractive and welcoming B&B just blocks from Rue Ste. Catherine. The rooms are cozy and include late 19th Century architectural details that pair amazingly well with the mid-century modern furniture and modern art that decorate the rooms and common areas. Be sure to check out the garden- Gilles is a natural at landscape design and his passion really shows. The bed was great and the linens were nice. We'll definitely be back.

This was one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at. The price was great (I can't recall now, but it was around $82 I believe), and the place was spotless, simple yet very well decorated with splashy colours like purple and green. We actually rented two rooms, and hence got the entire top floor to ourselves, which was really a treat. Both beds were very comfy, the bathroom was also very cutely done, very "french" and "european" in my opinion, though I've never been to France in all honesty. There's a large fridge in which you can place your things, a kitchen too (don't recall there being a stove, not sure...), and a dining area. Breakfast is continental, the owner simply keeps milk in the fridge, and puts out other things like cereal and nice bread in the morning, so that you can sleep in as long as you like and have breakfast when you feel like it.

The location was a bit on the edge of downtown, or so it seemed to me. We were able to walk into the heart of things within 20-30 mins, which was ok. The owner is supernice and accomodating, and drops by for friendly chats now and then.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place, as long as you don't mind the slightly further location.
