The best pizzeria in Montreal and it's a 'bring your own wine' place too. It's located in little Italy and often has a line up but the pizza is so worth it, like being back in Italy. This is a casual dining place ( they have plactic tablecloths) with exceptional food (the pasta is expceptional as well) A great place to meet friends if your going to be noisy,

I found this restaurant overrated.
Now the service is bad-horrible, soo slow and the food is mediocre. The last time, pizza was ok, nothing spectacular. Pasta was over cooked.

The place is always full too - loud and forget privacy. These are large cafeteria tables and you sit with strangers. And to finis, the deco is ugly. Wine is served in water glasses that are so worn that it is difficult to see through.
If you don't have a reservation (don't be late !) expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes ! It is NOT worth the wait.

**** The place is CASH only !

Although we had an excellent lunch, the service was provided by a number of waiters none of which we could identify as our own. It took 45 minutes to get food on the table. The two who ordered pasta were served a good 10 minutes before the three people having ordered pizza.
The anchovies on the arabiata pizza were very scarce.

For water, dessert and coffee we had to get someone's attention for service as everyone seemed more busy getting tables cleaned, dessert fridge replenished etc.

I would recommend for anyone not in a hurry and able to stand a noisy ambiance!!!

Altogether, a bit disappointing...............

Perfect pizzas, perfect pastas..the only negative comments would be the noise ..they should install something on the ceiling to lower the noise ...terrible on week ends ...but if you want to eat the best italian foods ..its THE PLACE

This place hasn't changed in 40 years. And that's what makes it special.
The vibe in this place, whether it's jam packed or you're the only one in there, is just great. It feels like an Italian's home.
The pizza is to die for.
