“Best kopanisti in town”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

I always start with the kopanisti, and sometimes I come here because I crave it. It is thick and rich and served with fresh, toasted, thick bread ( I don't order the fried bread as it is too much for me). My meal is always the chicken breats with Greek potatoes, Greek salad ( where do they get their tomatoes?? They are always exceptionally fresh and accompanied by large chunks of feta). The chicken is so juicy and tender, and the portion is quite generous, enough for a lunch the next day.
Just writing this review makes me want to go back right now!!
They have a fun little covered patio in the front covered by a canopy of vines.
Only negative note: noisy when room fills up.

Greek is Greek... Paidakia, tsatziki, saganaki, octopus, kalamari, ect.ect.
The difference with Filinos they do it properly and the food is great !
The ambiance is nice and the staff freindly.
Instead of the tipical ouzo ( wich i like ), try the mastika drink i was supprised to see it there
i have only seen it in Greece. Very sweet so have it after your meal.

Efcharisto for a wonderfull evenening and GREAT paidakia ( lamb chops )

“If you love lamb great chops, you will love Philinos”
Reviewed March 23, 2012

This is a wonderful place to organize a party of 8 people or more. Set menus are available, service is attentive, and food is delicious.
Platters are served filled with appetizers of grilled octopus, calamari, tzatziki, vine leaves and ocra. Greek salad Is a nice size, and delicious as well. tAfter all that large platters of lamb, chicken, meat and sausage are served. Price includes coffee and dessert.
We have eaten there as a small group of friends as wel and the choice and value are really wonderful.

“Best phaidakia ( lamb chops )”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

For a romantic outing with familly or just for freinds, this little restaurant is ideal, the square marble tables seated on what looks like black antique iron forged legs and the dim lights makes this place one of my favorites. The service is excelent and request are addressed promptly, i like a lot of lemon with my lamb choppes it only took seconds before i got my extra lemons despite the place was full. The feta cheese in the salad was perfect not to soft not to hard, the tomatoes where tasty and ripe, the flambe saganaki cheese was delicious. We also ordered a plater of meats wich had some porc, sausice, lamb chop and grilled chicken all moist tender and full of flavor, again i like lemon juice on my meats wich i got almost instantly. for desert we ordered my all time favorite lookomades with Greek coffee ( metrio ) it was a perfect blend. and of course to digest it all we caped it off with shot called Mastika liquor. It was the perfect experience. Peice of advise reserve ahead of time this place is packed on week-ends.
The only thing i would change in this restaurant is the music, they only played Greek songs at closing. some Theodorakis songs or dalaras would have been nice while we eat.

Thank you Terry for the Ouzo and a great meal ! Opha !
