I had not been to Moishes for 10 years but I dined there yesterday with out of town family.
They have re-decorated the dining room and I missed some of the old artwork. the new look has a bit less personality in my opinion.
The cole slaw is a delicious as ever - maybe a bit too sweet, and the dill pickles are sublime. I did not try the bread. These three items are served immediately upon being seated.
I ordered a dry martini up and was a bit surprised that it was not as cold as it should have been.
We all had various cuts of steak - me the junior rib cooked medium. It was great. I also ordered my potato "Monte carlo", which is taken out, seasoned, and replaced in the skin.
The service was exemplary. I like a steakhouse with waiters who have some age on the!
Overall it is hard to beat the Moishes experience.
