We went for dinner. We ordered Bhel. The restaurant was mostly empty. The owner said, they don't serve that anymore, even though it was listed on the menu. We ended up ordering something else, that we won't have otherwise. A few minutes later, a large family arrived. The owner tried to direct them to buffet (stale food from the morning or the day before) and they decided against buffet and ordered a bunch of items, from another server, and within minutes, there were many items on their table, including Bhel.
I confronted the owner about this before leaving that place. The owner, Sammy, probably just wanted us to order something pricier, so he lied. Now, that also explains why the restaurant was almost empty. Check out far better restaurants in the city, like Gandhi, and you know this guy is no Gandhi. ;)
