Italian food cooked by your grandmother who lives in an elegant but simply furnished basement near the old port. The menu was in Italian and listed on a whiteboard brought to our table and supported by a music stand. Fortunately our congenial waiter was happy to translate the long list of courses. The parmigiana on our arugula salad was nutty and creamy - best we've ever tasted. Pasta was perfectly al dente smothered in a luscious Gorgonzola sauce. Melt in your mouth veal. One issue, wine was only available by the bottle. You must have a reservation.
