“Very MODERN and Very CLEAN”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

Outstanding Quality, modern features, super clean. WiFi reaches 7Mbps download speed, gym has water bottles, bathroom floor is HEATED, clean hard laminate with light wood grain texture thru the rest. Open glass shower cabinet has spa feel. Fridge has on the cabinet an on-off switch to cut off noise at night. The safe has up to six digit combo and has internal led light like a fridge. Black granite on all room flat tables surfaces. They just upgraded rooms locks to tap to enter RFID cards in my first day of stay. Lobby Staff is with young hip crowd and super super friendly and helpful. Hotel Parking entrance is from the street on the back but still under the actual hotel and it is limited to eight spots. Desktops PCs are okay but running the slow slow Windows Vista and in French, making them useful only as a last resort. Breakfast is good, provides a decent variety, I personally loved the self serve Saeco automatic espresso machine. My only two tiny recommendations are to install Linux Mint on the PCs, and provide extra matters padding, I personally made one out of four topper pillows. :-)

I was in town for a conference at the convention. I was all of two minutes away, if that. The room was clean and well-equipped. Free wi-fi is great, but this hotel has a computer in the room. Loved the hardwood floors. There was also a frig and microwave. Small, but adequate fitness room. Great value!

We were very pleased with our stay. Great location, very nice rooms with hardwood floors, good WiFi, in-room PC, a usable fridge, and all very clean. The building is modern and well laid out. Staff were friendly and helpful and included breakfast was great.

Ideally located, excellent for sightseeing Old Montreal and access to Metro system. Modern feel about hotel with Ikea like furnishings. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and quiet. Breakfast service is basic but adequate.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed! Booking in was quick and efficient. We asked for a really quiet room and were allocated one on the 9th floor. It was excellent. There are building works going on across the street but this is in the daytime and doesn't continue late. The room was excellent - clean and bright. Don't let the wooden floors put you off. It had all the usual commodities. I understand what people say about the tightness of the layout and think for 4 adults it would be tight. For us it was fine. We could have done with a luggage stand though, it might ease the pressure of space. The bathroom was also lovely - a tad dark perhaps but good shower and the lights over the sink are great. Beds were really comfy. The A/C can be turned off if you turn up the temperature or ring Reception and they can also turn it off. The fridge can also be turned off as the is a switch on the side of the cupboard where it is housed. It was really quiet at night. Another plus is that you don't hear running water or flushing loos from other rooms. Wonderful!
The breakfast was excellent for a continental breakfast. Plenty of choice of breads, muffins, croissants and bagels. There were cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit, jams and marmalade a as well as hard boiled eggs. If you like re-fried beans these were also available. Not sure what people have to complain about! It does get busy but the turn over is quick and it is kept spotlessly clean. It was a real treat for us after two weeks of travelling not to have to go out and buy breakfast and pay the double taxes this Province incurs.
The Reception staff were lovely. They were very helpful and courteous and sorted out all our enquiries efficiently. If you want more tourist information there are two excellent Tourist Information Centres within walking distance.
This is a lovely hotel near to everything a sightseer wants. It is all walkable. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 9th floor at the front of the hotel. The building works opposite were not a pro...

We spent three nights in this Montreal hotel and found absolutely no problem with it. Our room was large, had a nice bathroom and toiletries and housekeeping was of a very high standard. It was easy to walk everywhere. Underground parking is available at the conference centre. To have breakfast included was a bonus and we would stay here again, even though the surrounding area is not particularly appealing. The staff were pleasant and helpful, recommending restaurants locally. As we have been travelling for some weeks, we really appreciated the use of the guest laundry, which was free of charge.

Good hotel, basic but very nice. Good included breakfast, clean, close to old Montreal walking distance, and close to Victoria train station that will take you everywhere. Also walking distance to St Catherine street, about 10-15min walking. Train station offer 24 hour passes for $9.00 and weekend passes from Friday PM to Monday AM for $12.00. Garage parking close by under convention center building for $22 for 24hour period. A cab from the village to the hotel at 2am did cost me $10.00 plus tips
It was a great trip!

Room Tip: rooms need key to keep AC working. AC was not very good, but it was not a deal breaker.
