I've been to a POP concert combine with OSM. Wonderful experience! The sound was amazing, the spacious room is really nice, but I do not recommand the seats behind the scene. You get to see the back of the musicians all long... Plus, the seats at the parterre are way too low to get a nice view when you,re seated in the front rows... the best seats would be the loge on both sides on the 2nd floor.

Visual and auditory delight, what a magnicient hall. This new hall provides Montreal with a world class venue for classical music and more.

You really have to experience it once. They have a lot of events and special prices of you are younger than 34 years old.

If possible, read about the construction and the interior of the building. Rather than being surrounded in red, the interior finishings are light birch and oatmeal fabric seats. Our guide explained about the inside of the hall being like a bubble surrounded by the next layer of the building. The acoustics for the symphony were fabulous and it was easy to sit, stretch out your legs and see the orchestra playing. This building, if your like architecture is worthy of a tour and, if you love music and theatre, worthy of a visit.
