Montreal is a very nice and beautiful city. I had a wonderful 3 days stay at suites Labelle. It is near to everything including the metro. The room is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the internet runs properly, you will find everything you need in a comfortable room (not too big, but comfortable and there is a live city outside calling for you). The bathtub is OK! And the breakfast is very good (it is not a tradition to Canadian hotels offer breakfast included in the fares). I recommend to it to anyone, specially to Brazilian people like myself.

Room Tip: Very near to metro. Silent to sleep.

Hotel was a two minute walk to Metro, easy walk either way on Catherine, offered substantial free breakfast and had nice sized rooms. Parking was underground and not too expensive. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place for Montreal this is a good choice. Room had a kitchenette, though posted a $25 charge if you don't wash the dishes. (Thought this was odd and silly.) Room amenities were limited and towels seemed to have seen better days. All in all I would probably stay here again.

A good location though the run down appearance of the street may worry some of a more sensitive nature. We felt perfectly safe at all times. The surrounding district is lively at night but the hotel remains quiet. Wifi worked fine. Staff helpful and friendly.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Les Suites Labelle and could not have been happier with the accommodation. As other travelers have noted, the rooms are large and clean with a fully equipped kitchen area as well which enabled us to buy some groceries at the nearby IGA supermarket and prepare a casual meal in our room. The hotel is in a perfect location, a 5 minute walk from the Rue Berri subway station, which is a major rail "cross road" that can take you almost anywhere in the city. It is also possible to easily walk down to the Old Montreal area within about 10 minutes, not to mention walk to the Latin Quarter, and to the Village. This gave us lots of different opportunities to see Montreal's beautiful and quaint neighborhoods, and unearth lots of nice little cafes and restaurants. Over and above all of that, the staff at Hotel Les Suites Labelle are extremely friendly and spent quite some time marking points of interest, the grocery store, the wine store and so forth, on a map of Montreal for us. Finally, as an additional bonus, a hot breakfast is included in the room rate. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Very nice Hotel, in the Heart of the Village. Does not look great on the outside but the rooms are extremely clean and well kept. The air conditioner was more than enough for 3 very hot days in Montreal with temperatures over 90 and humid. The Kitchenette was fully stocked and ready to go with cookware and dishes. Mini fridge was perfect. Bed was surprisingly nice considering the “look” and area of the hotel. The bathroom and shower was cleaner than a Marriott and newer looking. However the towels are terrible. They are the little, thin, white bath towels. The bath soap and shampoo I would forget about completely. Bring your own.
The Breakfast was great besides the little sausages they serve daily, scary. The eggs, homefries, beans, cereals, beads, pastries were excellent.
The rooftop deck to is cool to smoke or watch the skyline. Be aware the Hotel charges a 250.00 fine for smoking in the rooms.
The location is perfect for gays or partygoers traveling to Montreal. Its’ 3 min walk to all major gay clubs. Stereo and Circus is a 2 min walk from the hotel. Latin Quarter and Old Montreal is also a very short walk.
Lastly, the area is the worst in Montreal. However, I never ever once felt unsafe. Most of these homeless people and drug addicts just ask you for money and panhandle. It is just an unfortunate situation that surrounds this very nice hotel. If you don’t care about that stuff you can’t beat this Hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same except for size.

I had a junior suite and the room was very big and fully equipped. It was extremely hot that day in Montréal (close to 40C) so I was a little bit worried about the temperature in the room. The air conditioner was already on when I entered the room and the temperature was around 22C, perfect!
The check-in was a little bit long, but the staff was nice and helpful.
The breakfast was very good, better than the usual hotel breakfast.
The location is perfect; downtown Montréal at walking distance of everything. Also, the street might not be good looking but it’s very safe.
I recommend this hotel, it’s a great choice.

The Les Suites Labelle was in the perfect location. It was walkable to St. Catherine and St. Laurent. We were within a 5 minute walk of Jazzfest for the summer. The rooms were pretty sizeable, and they had their own kitchen. The hotel also provided an extensive breakfast every morning. Finally, the place was extremely affordable.

Room Tip: No swimming pool.
