Crescent Street is a little stretch of street than runs from Sherbrooke to Rene-Levesque. It's maybe 3 blocks long, running from the Musee des Beaux-Arts to the Pavillion des Beaux- Arts. Culinary delights are this area's specialty and the pub scene/cafe specialties draw crowds.

The street is so conducive to stopping and absorbing the vibrancy of the area. Many eateries have oozed out to the curb (and beyond) with their big umbrellas covering tables along the street. Architecture seems more Bostonian than Montreal-ian and it has notes of Old Italy mixed in with the Lebanese flavored foods, and other characters.

Evidently a lot of students visit this street, we drove down it as our time was limited. Wish we had more time to visit the restaurants/shops here.

Street still maintains a lively pub and restaurant scene. Plenty of opportunities to dine al fresco and people watch.

Crescent Street is filled with bars; bistros and cafes; including the Sir Winston Churchill; where happy hour goes until pm and drinks are two for one:

When visiting Montreal, who doesn't go down to Crescent Street. People know it by our Grand Prix Week-End...this is the street it all begins at.
