“Gorgeous cakes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2014 via mobile

Bought a stunning looking cake for a family visit. Turned out to be very rich chocolate mouse cake. Couldn't taste the difference between the macaron flavors. Good overall, thought the price was fair for a small but beautifully decorated piece of art.

“The real deal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2014

This cafe/bakery is not cheap, but it is not the usual bakery either. Based on old school french tradition, you will be treated to not only exceptional baked goods, but also impeccable service. The almond croissant is lovely. I don't think you could possibly go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is rarefied and simply elegant.

So glad I found this Patisserie in Montreal. Authentic and charming; my new favourite pastry place in Montreal.

“For Your Daily Sweet and Cappucino”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2014

We were staying in the St. Sulpice Hotel in Montreal, and asked the concierge for the best cappuccino and pastry in Old Montreal. Without hesitation she recommended Christian Faure, and she was right! We went there every afternoon during our stay. It is a very pleasant place with good service, excellent coffees, and some of the most amazing baked goods you will find. The sweets are wonderful, but if you can stay away from them, you should at least once have a croissant just with a bit of butter, you will be amazed. Very highly recommended!

“Perfect! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2014 via mobile

Every city has a special place for the perfect croissant. Look no further! You may need to come a fee times to try all of the different kinds, including almond and chocolate. The decor is well done and the service is very good. Don't miss it!
