We booked this room from Priceline for a Saturday and Sunday night stay. Our room was above the nightclub. The room was practically vibrating with noise. I tried to sleep with my headphones on and my husband tried to bury his head in pillows. Someone tried to break into our room on Sunday at 1pm. We had to call security. Our bathroom had a broken light fixture and the sink drain was slow. The hotel staff was very nice and the rooms were attractive and modern. They waived our parking fee for the trouble on Sunday night. This hotel is great for party goers who don't need to sleep. Our biggest beef is with Priceline for grouping this as a 4 star hotel in the same category as the Westin and Hilton Bonaventure.

Room Tip: Rooms not bordering the nightclub. Beware of Saturday night.

Dear Travelwell116,

Thank you for taking the time to give us this information about your recent stay. We apologize for not completely meeting your expectations during your stay. We do have a very vibrant food and beverage operation on Saturday only, and some rooms close to the restaurant can be noisy. We do have rooms located on a quieter side of the property and are team works very hard to manage guest’s request.
We do hope that we can welcome you back on your next visit to Montréal.
Do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Merci

Quirky? Upon entering the spacious guestroom, you notice the bathroom on the right. Large enough, clean, with large walk in shower. After looking around and then walking out to the door, i saw a door opposite the bathroom. Hmmm...is this for a suite? The door opened..and there was the toilet, across from the main part of bathroom. The main part of the bathroom has a pocket door..but wait, if you push open the toilet door all the way, the vestibule becomes part of the enlarged bathroom. It didnt take long to figure out which of the four light switches in this vestibule were for which lights, plus the separate light for the toilet/water closet. I wonder how many people can't find the toilet.
The modernistic furniture is functional. The in room safe could have been placed in a better location instead of on the lowest drawer inside a dark cabinet. Upon leaving, I used my cell phone light to make sure that nothing was left in the safe.
The bed was very comfortable. The in-room lighting could have been a bit better if you wanted to read. There was the standard Keurig coffee maker and CD/radio but no dock for smartphones.
I made good use of the free Wifi. The hotel booking sites said that there would be a charge for the Wifi but a call to the hotel before booking told me otherwise.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Friends also stayed in the hotel however they had a problem with their room AC. At check in, their AC wasn't working. A maintenance worker came up and supposedly fixed things...only until the middle of the night when the AC stopped working. My friends were unsure if the repair would last so they got themselves moved to another room. With some prodding, they were comp'ed breakfast and the upgrade charge that they paid over the standard double room rate. The staff was gracious about this.
The breakfast was a buffet, nothing special. Some scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, croissants, fresh fruit, limited supply of yogurt, some cheese, coffee, tea, juice. List price $18
The location was central for anyone here on a pleasure trip.
The parking was valet, at a reasonable price (for the area at $28) per day. My only gripe was that the valet was sometimes no where to be found. The valet is also the chauffeur for the free shuttle service (that we didn't use). Upon arrival, I could not find the valet for 20 min to give him my car keys. When my friends wanted to leave their car was out front, but the valet was on a trip with their key in his pocket. He was gone for about 25 mins.
Our trip was midweek so we did not have any issues with supposed noise from the weekend revelers. There was the indoor/outdoor patio that is a good place to have a drink.
Overall, I'd stay there again, especially with the deal that I got on Priceline (about $22 lower than the non-refundable standard rate). Even with my lower rate, I was treated just as well as the full priced patrons. It's not a top hotel but a good hotel at a good price in a very good location. Clean and friendly. A good value for what I paid.

We stayed at Hotel 10 for a week over the August long weekend and were very happy with everything. The hotel is in a great location as there are endless restaurant and shopping locales within a very short walking distance and there is even a convenience store right across the street for those last-minute cravings - and remember, you can buy beer and wine at convenience stores in Quebec!

Check-in and check-out were seamless (noon check-out!), our room was very clean and modern with ample space (we had a King room), bathroom and shower were perfectly fine (although a little more counter space would be nice), and the bed was super comfortable. Towels and facecloths were re-filled somewhat randomly (ie sometimes we got facecloths and sometimes we didn't), but that was hardly a show-stopper.

There is a club/restaurant on the main floor and we couldn't hear a thing from the 3rd floor - including street noise. The place is solid.

Have frequently stayed at the Opus in Montreal, which has now been rebranded and renovated in to Hotel 10. Great, fresh, modern updates. Pleasant staff, nice room and fun atmosphere. Will certainly continue to stay at Hotel 10 when in Montreal.

Just completed a 5 night visit to Montreal staying at Hotel 10. It was great. All of the staff went out of their way to help. Beautiful room on 4th floor on the Clark street side. If there was a loud night club, we never heard it. Alarm in next room went off at 11:30 at night. We called the front desk and within minutes they were there to shut off the alarm. Convenient location to Bus and Metro which we used a lot. They provided a car to take us back to the train station on Monday when we left. Couldn't have been better visit. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Montreal.

Beautiful rooms with contemporary decor and spacious. Great water pressure in a large modern bathroom.

Easy check-in, terrific location at Sherbrooke and St. Laurent, minutes from the Plateau and lots of nearby dining.

Slept great on huge king bed. I can't really think of a single problem.

Two weeks ago, we organised a small (20+) anniversary reception at Hotel 10 and its restaurant Brooke.

The chef's suggestions towards a menu selection were varied and all very tempting. In the end, our food selections were spectacularly delicious. The reception room was intimate and cozy, nicely complementing the expansive patio where we were welcomed. The service was attentive and extremely courteous; no one went wanting. To top things off, the cost was extremely reasonable considering the food and entertainment value we enjoyed from Bob and his team of professionals.
