This Marriott Courtyard is awesome! Big rooms, nice views, big bathroom, and brand new. Everything is so clean. The gym and the pool on the 11th floor are amazing too! best hotel gym I've ever seen. The room is comfortable and having a Keurig right in the room was a big hit with me. The location is great, and the parking is easy being right next door in an underground parking lot.

My only complaint is that this hotel is SO new they are literally still doing construction on it. Meaning anything above the 11th floor is not even open yet. The construction work starts at 7am every morning and continues until 5. It was so loud especially since our room appeared to be right next to the construction service elevator. Also the room service left something to be desired.

This is a very nice new hotel that is right downtown. The location seems Ok as it is a few blocks to St. Catherine St.

We got off to a bad start because after we checked in, they said to park in the garage which was around the back. We could not find the garage as there are no signs for it. We eventually figured it out after circling a few times. Very annoying especially after driving so long.

Our room was great. It was very large and the shower was large and had excellent water pressure. Very quiet too.

The restaurant was very good for breakfast and the waitress was very friendly and had no problem that we did not speak French. That was really nice.

The clerk at the concierge desk was not very helpful as he could not provide Metro directions to us. It seems like they are rotating concierge duties with the employees and it's hit or miss.

Because of these annoyances I cannot rate this higher.

And I mean that in a good way. I stay at Courtyards frequently, and the only resemblance this one has to others is the market store selling overpriced snacks behind the front desk. They could have slapped the Marriott monicker on this hotel and I doubt anyone would question it.

As others mentioned, this place is brand new. In fact, what was really funny is that when I did a Google search for the hotel, and tried to do street view, all that appeared was a hole in the ground with a crane in it! But it's definitely there now.

The lobby is really beautiful, with an incredibly large and cool chandelier. Check in was very quick. My room was quite large, and given the new smell I wondered if maybe I was the first one to stay in it. The tiling in the bathroom would rival much more expensive hotels. There is a menu of drinks and such, but the only thing in the fridge was a bottle of water. Pool and gym on the roof are really nice, and there's even a steam room in the bathroom.

Only complaint for me was that the pillows were pretty hard. Not sure if this was because they were new. Minor complaint was that they didn't sell beer in the market. They do have a full restaurant and bar (unusual for a Courtyard) but if you miss last call at 11pm you are out of luck.

I'd stay there again, and in fact I stayed again a week after the first stay.

We wish to let you know that we do have extra pillows available if the pillows in your room are not to your satisfaction. Please call the front desk and it will be our pleasure to send up other pillows. We donot sell any alcohol in our market while we do have a full service restaurant and bar on site that do also room service. We have given your comments to the restaurant manager. We do close at 11 pm for food but when occupancy permits we do not close the bar until later.

We sincerely hope to serve you again when your travels bring you to the Montreal area.

A friend and I just stayed at this hotel - it's only been open about 3 weeks. Staff are courteous & very helpful. Rooms are on the smaller side but high ceilings & large windows give rooms an airy spacious feeling. Bathroom is quite large. 2 Queen beds are comfy. Loved the Keurig in the room & the Starbucks coffee in the lobby area. The hotel is in a great location, one block to the shops on St Catherine's, one block to the convention center & a short 10 min walk to old montreal. Parking was underground, well lit & felt safe.

Tried out this Courtyard last week while on a work trip to Montreal. I'll certainly be staying here from now on.. rooms are much nicer and modern than the Marriott Chateau Champlain just a few blocks away. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant, the breakfast was both large and tasty.

Pool and gym on the 11th floor was also larger and nicer than most Marriott properties.

Room Tip: The rooms ending in 27 have 2 walls of windows

We wish to let you know that your tip is correct and that the 27 rooms do have 2 walls of Windows but did you know that we also have the 01, 22 and 28 rooms. So during your next stay if a 27 is not available you may want to try one of those.

We sincerely hope to see you soon.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Montreal Downtown with a friend and we were both very surprised to find out that the hotel had only been open a few days! Wow you could not tell. The people are so nice and the service was excellant. We also had lunch in thier restaurant "The Darlington" and the food was great.
The pool and the gym on the 11th floor are both spectacular with a view. The Gym is more than complet. You would think that this would be a typical small hotel gym but is is very spacious and plenty of the state of the art equipment. No line ups here!

The rooms are spacious and the rooms with two beds are Queen size. The decor is beautiful and all rooms have a fridge and a Kurig coffee maker. just another WOW!

Being two Ladies we are often worried about parking but here the parking is well lit and easy to get arround.

I do highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Montreal. Great location, service and just a beautiful hotel.

Not your typical hotel. An upscale hotel at a decent price. The rooms are above and beyond average - very luxurious, large, amazing floor to ceiling windows. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Service is fast and efficient. The two entrances and courtyard are very grand, rare in a big-city hotel.

Room Tip: Any floor has an amazing view.
