This suite is in a great location very close to the Lionel Groulx metro station and the Atwater market. The suite is small but very quaint. The kitchen and fridge had starter items including milk, eggs, butter, coffee, tea, and more which were very helpful.
There was a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and some chocolates waiting for us!
The owner was very accommodating! Merci Joanne. DL. Vancouver
This suite shows much better than advertised. It's small, but the space is used well so it doesn't feel cramped. Perfect for a couple (we also have a small dog who says merci beaucoup for the fenced yard). Very private, in a quiet neighborhood.
The location can't be beat - we parked our car and didn't use it all week because everything you need is right here. The metro is just a couple blocks away and easy to use even for a novice, and there is plenty to do right in Little Burgundy, with restaurants and the canal, not to mention Marche Atwater, which I became somewhat obsessed with. There is also a proper grocery store a few blocks up, easily walkable, and a convenience store with a Tim Horton right across the street.
Joanne has equipped the suite with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay, and then some. Everything is clean, modern, and in good repair. She sent us a wonderful detailed email before we arrived, with instructions on how to work the appliances and take care of the suite (it's mostly stuff you'd do anyway, like pick up your dog's poop, don't leave wet towels on the wood floor, etc). We had a couple questions during our stay and she answered my text promptly.
TA asks at the end of the review process, "Would you recommend this vacation rental to a friend?" I'll go one better: I would recommend it to my mother. And will definitely try to stay here again next time we're in Montreal. Merci, Joanne, nous avons vraiment apprecie notre visite a Montreal!
the micro suite has everything you need comfortable bed, cooking facilities, a fridge stocked with enough to get you started. Joanne made us feel very welcome. 5 minute walk from the metro, 10 minute metro ride or a 30 - 45 minute walk to old Montreal. a hot tub in the garden. although it is in a built up area it is a quiet area. micro suite is well isolated from any traffic noise.
JoAnn couldn't have been more accommodating during our weekend getaway stay. She has everything set up for your comfort. This is a perfect space for one person or a couple. It has a nice private entrance and the bed was very comfortable. Decor is classy and modern and very updated. The bathroom is small but has everything you'd need (either way, the tub is deep; perfect for a bubble bath!) I am looking forward to booking this suite again when I come back to visit Montreal.
I enjoyed my stay at this small, but incredibly well equipped mini-suite. I couldn't believe all the equipment included. Toaster, Oven, stove top, cutting surface, dishes, glassware, silverware, paper towels, paper napkins, washer, dryer, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, flat screen TV, King-size bed with pillowtop mattress, hot tub, full-size shower-tub, premium towels et al. Furthermore, the few items that I thought missing were replaced by the owner in hours. Outside, there is a large grassy area and a small table and 2 outdoor folding chairs. I sat outside in a shady spot and had a delightful, relaxing few hours. It is a few blocks away from bus and train lines, restaurants and a major shopping bazaar.
