“Good poutine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed a pitcher of sangria and some of the poutineville classic and another called magic hat (or something similar). Poutine is a little salty for my taste but it was good. The potatoes were awesome.

Thanks for stopping by! The poutine in question is called the "Hat Trick" - ground beef, hot dogs, bacon, cheese curds! Hope to see you soon, Go Habs go!

“First stop in Montreal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

Arrived in Montreal for a long weekend getaway. Our first stop was Poutineville for lunch.
I read good reviews and this was the place to start. Wait staff was very friendly and wonderful lady, owner/manager could not have been more accommodating. The "House special" with the beef and wine sauce was fantastic. We had some great food in old Montreal, but this tops our list for good food, value and Montreal experience. Oh! the General Tso Poutine was great too.

“Great poutine place!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

Ok! I'm from Montreal and a lot of poutine restaurants are overrated! What is a poutine? Fresh cutted french fries with cheese topped with a special kind of bbq sauce! hummm !! May sound weird but its delicious!! Poutineville offers a great traditionnal poutine and several declinations of gourmet poutine such as pulled pork poutine or red wine sauce! If you are a group of 4 or more, you should try their `heart attack poutine'' 15 pounds of fries, cheeses, sauce, sausage, green pepper and more!!!! No wonder they call it heart attack, right? lol

Its really good and the experience is fun!

“Canadians, Eh!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

Chic decor and clean, Poutineville offers an abundunce of speciality poutines as well as customizeable ones. We ordered a Montrealer specialty and our own customized one and it was delicious! Potatoes were house-made and the meals came with house salad. Service was impeccable. Would come back to try other specialties.

The Montrealer is one of our most popular poutines. It gives you a 'taste' of Montreal; poutine AND smoked meat, what can be better than that?! Thanks again and we hope to see you soon!

“Excellent food and service - but pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

The food was delicious, although they lost my order, they sent me a free beer for the inconvenience.. despite the mix up it was great food, and intimate atmosphere. It was also a bit expensive for me, $60 for 2 people including tip..

Hi there, sorry again for the inconvenience... Unfortunately, mix ups happen, even to the best of us. Until next time, Bon Apoutine! :)
