We have come to Montreal every summer for a dozen years and that has become a must stop.
Most guests are ethnic, a good sign, in my opinion. WE were warned, don't let the walk up the carpeted steps dissuade. The room is lively, many with large families, students and a few toutists like us. We were welcomed and our waiter recognized us and said " New Jersey! I go to Wildwood!. I ordered a dish that I was picking on and our attentive waiter noticed and took it back, took it off our bill and gave me a wonderful scallop/scungilli .Our must have is the salt and pepper soft shell crab. We've tried it here in the US at a few places but this is the best.
A must if you plan to eat in Chinatown. Worth a trip.
