I decided to come here for my birthday this year, for a mani pedi combo. Looking at their website, it looks like a beautiful spa. But, upon arriving there, I thought differently. I expected it to be a bit more luxurious, considering the price you pay and the amount of different services they have. It's a very basic, minimalist spa. Nothing special. Despite this, it still is a nice spa. It is located on the 16th floor, and the views are pretty nice of Montreal. It was very quiet, like a spa should be, so I very much enjoyed that. The esthetician here was not bad, although I am very critical of any spa services since I have been an esthetician myself for many years. There are things I enjoyed about the service, and things that bothered me quite a bit. Such as, the girl put a lot of pressure on my nail when pushing back my cuticles, to the point that she was actually scraping off my nail and not just my cuticle. When she cut my cuticle on my fingernails, she almost dug the nippers into my cuticles, and later I noticed I had a cut from it. Luckily, I didn't bleed from it. Polish application was good, but the services were quite short. Only took an hour and 15 minutes to complete both services. Normally in any high end spa it will take almost 2 hours. Staff was nice and friendly as well, but I probably won't be back.
