We picked up some takeout from Satay Brothers in September, and it was amazing!

The mee rebus soup might be the best Asian soup in town.

Do not hesitate, this hawker style asian place should be your first and last stop while in Montreal, the food is simply AMAZING !
These two adorable brothers and their hard-working team offer tasty, fresh and healthy singapourean food.
From satays to steamed buns to Laksa and last but not least mama Kim's delicous desserts, you will not be disappointed, A+ service and meal at affordable price.
Good news, they can also cater all your events, wow!
Be ready to be blown away !
Bon appétit !

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! It's hard to find an authentic south east asian food and Satay Brothers delivers!! I love their nasi lemak (rice cooked in coconut milk) served with otak-otak (fish cake) and teri kacang (anchovies and peanuts in chilli dressing)!! Sooo good I feel like I'm home! Their laksa is another 10! Also, they have various satay: chicken, pork and beef, all to die for! I know that they are serious about their food when I tasted their sambal (chilli)! In Indonesia (my home country), sambal is a VERY serious condiment and their sambal has passed my expectation! They also have different sandwiches with Asian touch to cater westerners..pork sandwich, hainanese chicken sandwich..both are sooo good!!! Bottom line..the food is SO GOOD! The price is affordable! The service is fast and the staff are friendly! You can see that they enjoy what they are doing, they put on music, they smile, they talk to their customers! It's just wonderful!
