“Best meal in ages”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

This place is phenomenal. We ordered the tasting menu despite being afraid of a few items (duck hearts? oh my). Do this and don't look back...everything was absolutely perfect. Not one complaint in a group of 6 pretty sophisticated eaters, including 2 chefs. Plating was gorgeous, service attentive but not hover-y, and cocktails delicious.

It is a little pricey a la carte, but the tasting menu was a bargain ($39/pp for 5 courses).

The atmosphere is modern without being cold. The kitchen is fairly open.

Just go!

“Great and interesting tasting menu”
Reviewed December 9, 2012 via mobile

For 39$ it's really worth it. The food has a Peruvian taste really interesting choices and spices
Somewhere different and also delicious. Service was slow but they were so apologetic and gave us a free bottle of very nice wine. We will definitely go back. Hard to get reservations so call they re busy, and they should be.

“Nuevo Latino shines with fantastic results”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

Beautiful flavors and diverse textures. Size of starters are larger than tapas, but still fun to order several dishes to share. The ceviche was first rate and the tuna tartare was set atop potato croquettes alongside crabmeat with avocado and coriander. The jumbo shrimp with lightly fried yucca ribbons was served with two sauces - an avocado cream and a smoky black corn syrup..Super!! The clams with chimichurri were also a hit. Wine list offers perfect pairings for this cuisine, Great values on the Spanish imports. Try the pouding chomeur for dessert - it'll knock your socks off.. Service first rate overall. Only caveat - if noise bothers you a lot, choose a midweek to come and come early (6 PM). A real gem of a restarurant.

“Outstanding !”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

This recently opened restaurant offers a mix of south-american flavours with a north-american menu. The result is absolutely outstanding. My wife and I were there recently and had the five course tasting menu which is both an excellent value and a great opportunity to taste several of the interesting dishes; we had shrimp wrapped in fried yucca ribbons, braised bison, blood pudding served with slices of chorizo, and a wonderful "pouding chomeur" with a touchof ice cream: all excellent. The wine list is heavy on Spanish wines, and at a reasonnable price. Reservations are a must. Service was also excellent. Most wonderful evening...
