“Nuevo Latino shines with fantastic results”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2012

Beautiful flavors and diverse textures. Size of starters are larger than tapas, but still fun to order several dishes to share. The ceviche was first rate and the tuna tartare was set atop potato croquettes alongside crabmeat with avocado and coriander. The jumbo shrimp with lightly fried yucca ribbons was served with two sauces - an avocado cream and a smoky black corn syrup..Super!! The clams with chimichurri were also a hit. Wine list offers perfect pairings for this cuisine, Great values on the Spanish imports. Try the pouding chomeur for dessert - it'll knock your socks off.. Service first rate overall. Only caveat - if noise bothers you a lot, choose a midweek to come and come early (6 PM). A real gem of a restarurant.

“Outstanding !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

This recently opened restaurant offers a mix of south-american flavours with a north-american menu. The result is absolutely outstanding. My wife and I were there recently and had the five course tasting menu which is both an excellent value and a great opportunity to taste several of the interesting dishes; we had shrimp wrapped in fried yucca ribbons, braised bison, blood pudding served with slices of chorizo, and a wonderful "pouding chomeur" with a touchof ice cream: all excellent. The wine list is heavy on Spanish wines, and at a reasonnable price. Reservations are a must. Service was also excellent. Most wonderful evening...

“Amazing!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

This restaurant was recommend to us by the owners of our bed and breakfast in the Village. The food was amazing! We took our server's suggestion and opted for the tasting menu which includes 5 courses. Each one was incredible! They included ceviche, grilled octopus, boudin, short ribs and two desserts (chocolate cake and vanilla icecream over blueberries). Each course was delicious with complex and full flavors, but nothing overpowering and beautifully prepared. The whole staff was attentive and helpful. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and you can watch your meal being prepared by the two chefs. Loved it!
